Welcome to River Valley Lactation!

I’m Kayli — a mama to three adventurous boys, wife to my husband Kyle, and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) proudly serving families in the beautiful St. Croix River Valley of Western Wisconsin and Eastern Minnesota.

My Why: From Personal Experience to Professional Passion

When I began my own breastfeeding journey, I didn’t have access to a lactation consultant and relied on Dr. Google to troubleshoot challenges. In my area, lactation support resources were limited, and I knew that needed to change.

When my son Bodie was several months old, I approached leadership at the medical center where I worked to propose starting a lactation program. That led me to formal lactation education, supporting infant feeding from 2018, and earning my IBCLC credential in 2021.

River Valley Lactation was born from my commitment to ensure no parent has to navigate breastfeeding alone, just as I once did.

Why River Valley Lactation?

In 2024, I took the leap and started River Valley Lactation to make lactation care more accessible, personalized, and judgment-free. While working in a clinic setting, I saw firsthand how difficult it could be for families to come in for support—sometimes, the office just wasn’t the right fit. That’s when my dream of in-home care was born. There’s something truly special about meeting families where they’re most comfortable and helping them thrive in their own space.
